“ Stumbled upon Bhuna while walking around the neighborhood. The ambiance was inviting with great music and lighting. It was so so difficult to decide what to eat but we decided the jackfruit curry & fried chicken sandwich. The food was delicious, you can’t go wrong! ”

“ If you don’t eat here, I think you are making mistake. This place is awesome! I have always wanted to try and have heard such great things about it and literally cannot express how much I loved the food the atmosphere the staff and everything else that there is to love about dining out. My food was fantastic. The chef was so genuine and literally could not have been more gracious and more funny. I will definitely be making a return and if you don’t come here, you are making a huge mistake toodles XOXO. ”
“ This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants to try in the Portland area. The food is inspired from the spices and recipes from the North Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. This is not a place where they reuse gravies across the menu, like several other Indian places. The recipes were incredibly fresh and tasty. You must visit if you like Indian food. The owner treated us like guests visiting his home, thank you! I would definitely come back. ”
“ I am a sucker for Indian food, and this was perfect. I tried some new things, and loved (or at least liked) all of it. My girlfriend and I got the vegetable pakoras as an appetizer and they were wonderfully crunchy. Then we got the (vegetarian) Thali for 2, which was perfect. I loved getting to try a little bit of everything. We also got a masala lemonade which I loved. She got a, but she doesn't like rum and so she didn't enjoy it that much. But the spice on the rim was good! The server was friendly, funny, and super helpful! He described what we got on our Thali for 2 plate and answered questions I had about some of the food I was unfamiliar with. The interior is minimalist and spacious, although the 2-person tables are a little small. ”
“ Our server was warm and friendly, he recommended the pork rib appetizer and I must say, it SHOULD be holding a title of some sort. Im from TX and I was very impressed, we love bbq. Everything else was tasty, but I honestly could return for the ribs alone. We got the Pork ribs, veggie pakora, lotus fries, kashmiri lamb, mango coconut lassi, and a glass of bubbles. The mango coconut is also a DO NOT MISS this item. So DELICIOUS. We will be back! ”
“ Cozy interior, nice music, charming owner, totally slept on restaurant. I’ve had my fair share of Indian food, and this was really amazing. Recommend the Chettinad chicken. The mango kulfi is too good. ”
“ We wandered into this restaurant on a whim, and we were so pleasantly surprised! I'm a very picky eater, but Maggie took such great care of our group and made great recommendations. She even customized a cocktail for me. I have never had Indian food before but I liked everything I tried!!!! The brussel sprouts, pakoras, and chicken skewers were my favorites!!! The place is cute and clean, and they played great music. It was a fun and chill atmosphere. Happy hour deals were good, and overall pricing was reasonable. I'll definitely be back! ”
